    As a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, Ability Beyond Disability relies on philanthropic support to ensure its success. Each year we are committed to raising the funds needed so that we may continue to be a resource for changing the lives of approximately 1,000 individuals with disabilities living in our communities.

    Donors and supporters of Ability Beyond Disability are always impressed to learn that our services cost about half as much as those provided by State agencies, while our administrative overhead is well below the industry norm. That means every philanthropic dollar makes an impact on the people we serve.

Meet Chris “As a young adult with special needs, Chris needed help transitioning into the adult world. He needed to learn the skills necessary for living and working in the community as independently as he possibly could and he learned these skills at one of our community living facilities, which provides behavioral and transitional supports for young adults.”
