    Ability Beyond Disability Invests in Direct Support Professional Staff

    It is an agency in Bethel, CT., that supports some 1,300 individuals and has a direct support staff of 715. Ability Beyond Disability is the agency and in these difficult economic times it made the decision to invest in its workforce, to have a trained and skilled cadre of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).

    This statement from our August Partner Profile on Ability Beyond Disability reflects the spirit of the agency: "Since beginning the P2E program in May 2008 we have had NO turnover among participants. All 63 graduates are still working here, eagerly awaiting the development of the specialty training programs.
