What is Ability Beyond Disability?
Ability Beyond Disability is a health and human services provider serving approximately 1,500 people each year, with moderate to significant disabilities, including developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, traumatic brain injury, physical disabilities and mental illness. Where is Ability Beyond Disability located?
The Connecticut office is located at: 4 Berkshire Boulevard, Bethel, CT 06801. The New York office is at: 120 Kisco Avenue, Mount Kisco, NY 10549. Ability Beyond Disability has over 100 residences located throughout Fairfield, Hartford and Litchfield counties in CT, and Dutchess, Putnam and Westchester counties in NY.

What is Lend-A-Hand...Mend-A-Home?
Lend-A-Hand...Mend-A-Home is a program where area businesses, service organizations and church groups "adopt" a residence and volunteer to work on various projects at the home. The projects can range from leaf raking to flower planting to hosting a cookout for the home's residents. Monetary contributions are gladly accepted as well. What are Gifts-in-Kind?
Gifts-in-Kind are non-monetary gifts given to Ability Beyond Disability. They can be household items like pots, pans and dishes or furniture items such as sofas, chairs, tables, etc. The gifts-in-kind items must be in very good condition and are used to furnish our residents homes.
